Where the Money Goes

Vet Services

This is by far our largest expense each year. On average, we spend $750-$1,000 to prepare each dog for adoption. Our adoption fee is only $225 so donations “keep our doors open.”

Foster Supplies

We provide our foster homes with everything they need to care for our dogs, including dog food, treats, toys, crates, dog beds, and more.

Transportation

While our hounds run 440 yards at a time, our Hound Haulers run hundreds of miles to get our foster dogs from the track to vet visits to meet and greets and eventually to their forever homes.

Administrative Costs

Running a successful organization isn’t easy (or cheap). We must pay for things like liability insurance, our 1-800 number, this website, etc.
