Greyhounds are tall and sleek, with deep chests and curved spines. They are known for their speed, intelligence, and gentle demeanor. These graceful animals have been around for more than 5,000 years and have been man’s best friend since the beginning.

Fast Fact #1

Greyhounds run in double suspension rotary gallop – where all four feet are free from the ground at two points during the stride.

Greyhounds have a dichocephalic skull, allowing an exceptional 270-degree range of sight. And, they can see up to a half mile.

Greyhounds have higher levels of red blood cells than other breeds and can often be used as universal blood donors.
